Located 3 kms. North East from the center of Ubud, the artistic and cultural center of Bali, is the traditional Balinese Village of Laplapan, seemingly untouched by the hands of time. Here Natura has been conceived, a new concept in environmentally aware guest accommodation. Situated within the Petanu River valley, one of Bali’s holy rivers, the emphasis is on the Natura of the river and the jungle. With direct access to clean natural swimming and the soothing sounds of constant flowing water, the jungle site is a plateau with dramatic views across and along the river, already rich and densely vegetated with coconuts, palms, exotic fruit and abundance of advanced native trees. Natural springs abound in this haven of peace and tranquility. Natura’s design plan was to enhance the beauty of the existing site, with environmental impact being a serious consideration. The preservation of existing vegetation and the protection of the river and wildlife were paramount in the design of the fourteen luxury villas. In additional to the natural beauty, Natura is complemented by fourteen traditional Balinese villas, designed to meet the needs of the discerning traveler, positioned within the natural contours of the land. The main bedroom has a king sized bed and the second bedroom features twin beds, each bedroom contains of marble bathroom. The main bathroom contains double vanity, toilet, shower and large terrazzo soaking bathtub and wardrobe. One of this villa features spacious living area, private Jacuzzi, kitchenette and study lounge, where as the other one is a duplex style two bedroom villa with a enormous day bed, private plunge pool and gardens on the lower level overlooks to the valley. Four of these villas are designed similar to the duplex style of Deluxe Villa, features private plunge pool set in the private gardens on the edge of the gorge. One of this is a single level villa, containing a spacious combined bedroom and living room which opens onto a large wooden terrace area with its own plunge pool overlooking the gardens and valley. The connecting marble bathroom with vanity, walk in wardrobes, toilet, outdoor shower, indoor terrazzo soaking bathtub overlooks to the valley. Two of these villas category are duplex style, while the other two are single level. All villas contains marble bathroom that features vanity, toilet, separate glass shower, outdoor terrazzo soaking bathtub and shower within a private garden courtyard for the duplex villa; indoor fiber soaking bathtub and shower for the single level villa. Whilst adjacent to the bathroom is a spacious wooden floor combined bedroom and living room overlooking the gardens and valley. The duplex style of this villa category has a lounge area containing a king size day bed, dinning table and private gardens, however in the single level of this villa has a private wooden deck situated in the trees top with un disturbed views to the jungle and valley. Designed as a walled Balinese Village with all the tranquility and serenity of the surrounding areas. These villas are entered through a Balinese gate. Within the compound is a comfortable sitting area and dining table. Adjoining is a spacious combined bedroom and living room with writing table, coconut wood TV cabinet. The connecting marble bathroom with a vanity, toilet, and separate glass shower, features an outdoor terrazzo soaking bathtub and shower within a secluded garden courtyard. This traditional villa offers more privacy to the guests. |

IN HOUSE FACILITIES
SWIMMING POOL Situated in Petanu River valley, on of Bali’s holy rivers, the emphasis is on the nature of the river and the jungle. With direct access to clean natural swimming and the soothing sounds of constants flowing water, the jungle site is a plateau with dramatic views across and along the river, already rich and densely vegetated with coconuts, palm, exotic fruit and abundance native trees. We enhance these for your personal comfort. And also set amidst the gardens and with rice fields bordering is our swimming pool the place to be around sunset. THE WANTILAN RESTAURANT Adjacent to the main swimming pool with spectacular views to the valley, cooling breezes and water sounds of the Petanu river, all day dinning from 7.00 am till late, 45 persons, serving a selection of western and Indonesian specialties. THE WANTILAN BAR AND LOUNGE In the Wantilan Restaurant, 10.00 am to 12.00 pm. Refreshments, cocktails, pastries & snacks.

An ancient island culture vibrating with the spirit of the past. Relax in the riverside Spa, Luxury Jacuzzi, exploring the traditional beauty and healing rituals of Bali. If your need is to simply get away and relax, Natura has you in mind. Located on the riverbanks of Petanu River. The traditional Spa features 2 twin massage rooms with change facilities, a juice bar and two post massage relaxation bales. Operation hours : 09.00 am – 05.00 pm. Concept : The spa explores the traditional beauty and healing rituals of Bali in the spirit of harmony with the surrounding environment. Guests can enjoy Traditional Balinese & Javanese massage and body treatments. CLIMATE April to October is comfortably warm with relatively low humidity. The average daily temperature hovers around 84oF/27oC. November to March is more humid, provides occasional tropical rainfalls normally lasting but a few hours at a time. The average daily temperature is a constant 92oF/32oC. As we are located in the mountain area of Ubud it is recommended a light sweater be included in your luggage for the evening’s. TIME DIFFERENCE Indonesia covers three zones, Bali is eight hours a head of GMT. ACCESS Natura is approximately a one-hour drive from Ngurah Rai (Denpasar) Airport. Chauffeured Mercedes Benz or BMW service is available on request for airport transfers and local transport. Car hire, with or wihout driver, can also be arranged. A valid international driver’s licence is required to rent cars to drive by oneself. LANGUAGE The national language, Bahasa Indonesia is used as the medium of instruction in schools. At home and in the markets, the Balinese speak a Balinese language. English is commonly spoken throughout Bali particularly in commercial centers. IMMIGRATION Visitors to Indonesia must posses a passport valid for at least six months upon arrival and proof of onward passage. Visa requirements are determined by nationally. Citizens of the United Kingdom Australia, New Zealand, USA, Canada and Japan do not require visas and receive a maximum stay with a “tourist pass” for two months.
